Leah Selvidge offers a wide range of knowledge and expertise culled from 20 years of experience in marketing communications, event management, public relations and promotions in technology and the arts.  Leah began her career in Silicon Valley working in marketing communications and product marketing.  She relocated to Austin, Texas, in 1997 where she expanded her career in marketing communications, eventually starting her own public relations and marketing communications consulting firm where she applied her expertise to guide clients in early-stage start-up mode through the world of public relations and analyst communications.  She eventually expanded her business to include not only technology clients but government export missions seeking to expand their markets and business in the US.

Having been on the consulting side for more than 10 years, Leah offers great ingenuity and resourcefulness in rapid-deployment environments.  Her most recent experience includes representing the Quebec Government at SXSW Interactive, Film and Music Conference where she built a team to assist with both event production and press outreach for the organization’s 10-day participation in the largest multi-platform trade show, convention and festival of its kind.

EDUCATION AND INTERESTS:

Leah holds a Bachelors of Science in Communication (Film Production Track) from the University of Texas at Austin where she also emphasized in Spanish in which she is highly conversant.  She enjoys travel, yoga, cooking, SCUBA Diving and skiing.
