    Greg has more than 25 years of expertise in change management, training, coaching, and leadership development, particularly applied to software development, technology implementation and business practice changes.

    Greg has demonstrated success in organizational change, including Agile transformations, portfolio management, creating collaborative environments, and introducing systems thinking, Lean, and Agile practices. He strives for clear communication and collaboration, fostering effective outcomes at the individual, team, and executive leadership level.  Greg also has extensive experience in meeting facilitation and training, as well as offering national, regional, and local presentations, conferences, and meeting facilitation.

    Sample Projects:

    A recent initiative at Capital One involved reworking the roles and responsibilities of Agile professionals in a technology division. Greg worked with leadership of both Technology and Product areas to help identify organizational needs, align Agile resources with those needs, and design and roll out a training program nationwide for Agile professionals, resulting in more effective teams and greater buy-in from the technology and product executives.

    Greg worked with GFOA to design and facilitate an immersive, transformational training program aimed at increasing the ability of Financial Officers to engage with their partners, stakeholders and constituents in the practice of municipal financial planning. This involved introducing innovative facilitation techniques, designing a unique multi-day offsite, and training the participants to use the techniques learned in their organizations.

    Greg designed a portfolio management system for INGDirect that involved intake, estimation, and tracking all new development work for more than 20 web and mobile development teams split over multiple sites and incorporating multiple external vendors.  This enabled accurate prioritization and tracking of initiatives, allowing teams and development programs to efficiently and effectively plan and track their product work, both current and future.

    Education & Interests:

    Greg holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theater. He is a certified Agile Coach and a certified Individual Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), focusing on leadership development. He also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), is a certified Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner, and is a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner.

    Greg is a citizen of the United States. In his spare time, he enjoys tai chi and pottery. His volunteer experience includes working with high school students, teaching about emotional intelligence and mindfulness, as well as volunteer work with Junior Achievement.
