Jason recently completed a project for Seattle Public Schools in which he designed, developed, and implemented a new Intranet platform based on a hybrid of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online. This included working with multiple business units to establish new governance and content management plans, develop a new information architecture, and implement new UI/UX design principles.
With Safeco Insurance, Jason was initially tasked with the migration of a small set of Intranet sites from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013. The project then evolved in scope and led to the establishment of a new enterprise Intranet platform. One of Jason’s major contributions to the overall project was his design and development of a knowledge management model that continues to be the company standard for all new Safeco Intranet sites.
As a SharePoint Site manager for Microsoft’s Unlimited Potential Group, Jason successfully led the transition from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010, while also managing assimilation of the group’s content into the larger Educational Products Group Intranet site. This involved a great deal of complexity to manage the requirements for content, technology, and resources as they were merged and reorganized.
