SAMPLE PROJECTS:
At Funko Gail joined an ongoing enterprise tooling project as the only SharePoint resource. She used SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, PowerAutomate, and PowerApps forms to create tools supporting an incoming manufacturing solution. Working with all levels of the company, Gail applied best practices for MS 365 continuous improvement to deliver tools, forms, automations, training, and change management activities for IT, project management and training teams. Her solutions and coaching resulted in improved efficiency and cost savings for the company.
For Sound Transit’s Project Management Organization Gail developed and implemented new intake protocol solutions using SharePoint as part of an integrated process of tools and checkpoints. She tested multiple solutions with staff to optimize an approach, successfully reducing time and effort for the entire PMO.
For Microsoft’s security organization Gail developed a new SharePoint Online-based portal. Working as a “one-stop shop”, she identified and engaged stakeholders, gathered user requirements, assessed existing legacy tools to be incorporated into the portal, and facilitated the site design. She performed custom and out-of-the-box development including complex forms and workflows, and identified risks, supported legacy code maintenance and replacement, and migrated team sites from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online. While there she observed that an IT project tracking tool she had designed years earlier using SharePoint 2007 was still in use, with its design principles adopted as a “best practice” for other Microsoft internal tools.
Gail worked with Russell Investments, FTSE Russell, and the London Stock Exchange Group to automate and migrate existing processes and platforms and content into a SharePoint environment. Gail’s role included improving user experience and helping business units adopt efficiencies. As the only SharePoint SME on site, Gail spanned development, training and documentation, including creation of branded templates.
EDUCATION:
Gail holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington with a double major in Speech-Communication and Drama.
