City of Seattle Taps Onit Partner for WMBE Advisory Committee

SEATTLE, Wash., Aug 2024 – City of Seattle has invited Onit Management Consulting Managing Partner Edward Byers to join its Women and Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE) Advisory Committee. Edward will serve from September 1, 2024 to September 1, 2026, bringing his valuable skills and experience to this important role.

Edward is honored by the opportunity to give his time, effort, and extensive experience to the committee. He looks forward to contributing to productive improvements for WMBE representation in City contracting.

ABOUT THE WMBE ADVISORY COMMITTEE 

The WMBE Advisory Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring equity, inclusion, and participation of women and minority-owned businesses in City of Seattle contracts. Established under Executive Order 2023-07, signed on November 1, 2023 by Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, the committee provides essential guidance to the City, reviewing and recommending changes to the WMBE program and advising on relevant issues and concerns.
