He has managed project execution and implementation at program level for Fortune 500 companies and led policy development for several renewable integrations. He has also developed software for facilitating the forecasting of maintenance and operating costs in conventional buildings using probabilistic simulations, while overseeing all on-site and off-site construction activity to monitor compliance with plan specifications, building and safety regulations.

SAMPLE PROJECTS:

A recent Amazon project saw Olu manage project execution and implementation at the program level for a warehouse automation program valued at $400m across North America, including all engineering design and project management. He developed a PMO implementation strategy and new business processes across the organization.

At Walmart, Olu developed several construction project delivery manuals that centered around proper project execution and handover documentation. The manuals integrated all preconstruction (business development), project execution, operations, and maintenance areas. They introduced practical tools for one single source of truth for data generation, risk management and project schedules.

For the Nigerian Government Olu led PMs and vendors in the installation, detailed process development, mechanical and electrical design and engineering, controls integration, system fabrication, and commissioning of wastewater treatment plants in 20+ locations across sub-Saharan Africa. He developed teams and comprehensive project manuals and introduced innovative work processes in alignment with engineering requirements and contractors. Olu oversaw the mechanical, and electrical design and engineering to deliver Reverse Osmosis systems. Also included in the deliverables were system fabrication, controls integration, field installation, commissioning, startup training and support services.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATES:

Olu holds a PhD in Facilities and Construction Project Management from University of Derby, UK; a Masters in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University, MO; an MSc in Property Management and Investment from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, UK; and a Bachelors in Estate Management from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
