SEATTLE, Wash., Jan 2024 – City of Seattle’s Finance and Administrative Services Dept (FAS) has selected a partnership between Onit Management Consulting and iSoftStone to redesign its internal FAS Procurement InWeb SharePoint site. The Onit / iSoftStone partnership brings unique value to this project, combining iSoftStone’s global technical expertise with Onit’s focus on business process optimization and organizational change management (OCM). Onit is serving as the prime consultant on the project and interfacing with the City of Seattle, while iSoftStone’s technical SMEs will work behind the scenes with the Onit team.

ABOUT CITY OF SEATTLE FAS  

The City of Seattle’s Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) describes itself as “a customer-focused front door” for the City of Seattle, assisting with everything from paying utilities to reporting a pothole to requesting public information or even adopting a new pet.

The 500-plus employees of FAS span 11 divisions and manage 120 City facilities, including police stations, fire stations, animal shelters, parking garages, offices, and maintenance facilities. FAS services encompass Purchasing and Contracting (including making sure minority-owned businesses can equitably compete for City contracts), running the City’s 311 phone service, consumer protection, capital development, logistics and emergency management, and more.
