City of Shoreline Permits Onit to Guide its Process Improvement Plans

SEATTLE, Wash., July 2024 – City of Shoreline has selected Onit Management Consulting to help improve its processes for issuing planning and construction-related permits to Shoreline residents and businesses. Onit is bringing its Lean Six Sigma business process improvement and Organizational Change Management skills to help Shoreline better align its permit processes with customer and staff needs. Onit is also helping the City of Shoreline to integrate into to their permitting process the compliance requirements associated with the recently passed Washington State Senate Bill 5290, that brings major changes to the Local Project Review Act, which is the statewide framework for local government land use, planning review, and development permitting.
