KING COUNTY WASTEWATER TREATMENT DIVISION ENGAGES ONIT TO HELP IMPROVE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

SEATTLE, Wash., October 2020 – Onit Management Consulting is honored at its selection by King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) to assist in the development, implementation and training for a new Program Management Delivery Methodology and Framework, improving effectiveness, efficiency and consistency of program management practices across the organization. Onit consultants will bring their extensive experience in project and program management methodologies, organizational change management, instructional design and online training delivery, and will draw on previous experience developing and implementing a project management delivery methodology for King County’s Hazardous Waste Management Program.

Part of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, King County Wastewater Treatment Division serves more than 1.8 million people across a 424-square-mile service area, including most urban areas of King County and parts of south Snohomish County and northeast Pierce County. The wastewater treatment system includes five wastewater treatment plants across the service area, as well as one community septic system, four combined sewer overflow (CSO) systems, 25 regulator stations, 49 pump stations, 39 CSO outfalls and more than 391 miles of sewer pipelines.
