As Chair of the Marketing and Communications committee, Dr. Laws led the committee in a SWOT analysis and environmental scan. She facilitated the creation of the mission and vision statements, aligning them with strategic goals and objectives, a strategic action plan, and plans for resource allocation, communication, implementation, and performance management.

At Life University, the world’s largest single-campus chiropractic university, Dr. Laws helped build and operate a college of online education. She facilitated creation of the college business strategy, created all the policies, manuals, and processes needed to operate the online college, hired and trained all faculty and staff, designed the initial academic programs, and tested implementation by teaching selected online courses herself. She negotiated all vendor contracts and contributed to the SACS-COC regional accreditation of the college. She also helped the in-person campus transition to online operations at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
