Laura GomezLaura has more than 14 years of experience in consulting on business and technology projects. Her experience includes engagements in financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare, utilities and public sector for organizations located in the US and internationally.

Laura is a versatile project management professional, with experience as an analyst, a trainer, and organizational change management (OCM) consultant, and a project and program manager. She is bilingual and has led cross-functional and multicultural teams, negotiating with external vendors, and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including senior and C-level executives.

On a recent project for the legal department at JP Morgan Chase, Laura participated in the improvement and integration of technology systems, as well as the creation of an onboarding training program that improved certification rates by 97% and employee satisfaction by 99%. Laura collaborated in redesigning systems to create customer-friendly and easy-to-use options, saving the legal department both time and money. Finally, Laura created a system training approach that was uniquely aligned with business needs, as well as practical to encourage user interest and adoption.

At healthcare manufacturer, New Stetic Laura developed a culture of service that improved customer satisfaction by 20% and certification rates above 97% for an e-learning training recertification program. Laura attributes her success to an extensive organizational analysis as well as stakeholder identification, business alignment and engagement. Laura ensured that change management best practices were followed, including
rigorous sponsorship, people management, communication, training and resistance plans, all aligned with the overall project implementation plan.

At Bancolombia, an international bank, Laura facilitated the integration of three merging banks with 16,000 employees between them, executing a change management strategy which fully transformed and accelerated the creation of a unified culture. Laura benefited from the application of the Prosci – ADKAR model and recognized the importance of open and timely communication, as well as extensive coaching and training to middle managers and supervisors for successful organizational integration.


Laura was a Netherlands Fellowship candidate and obtained her MBA in Management Information Systems from Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands), graduating with honors for her MBA thesis research. She also holds a Business Administration degree with emphasis in Finance. Laura is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a certified Prosci® Change Management Practitioner.
