SAMPLE PROJECTS:

At the US Department of Energy Matt coached the Senior Executive Staff of the DOE to achieve individual and group leadership improvement objectives. Utilizing a synthesis of psychometric evaluation (DiSC), multi-rater feedback (OPM 360), resume analysis, combined with one-on-one interviews, Matt built holistic leadership profiles and created development plans for the 10 highest-level DOE personnel at the Hanford Site. Matt conducted confidential coaching and developed relationships with the SES to improve individual and team performance, communicate more effectively, and enhance teamwork in achieving mission goals.

In conjunction with The University of California, Los Angeles Matt envisioned, initiated, established, and implemented the Manufacturing Engineering Certification for Aerospace Hardware program. He also developed and instructs the program course about concepts and application of Manufacturability, Producibility, and Testability for space and airborne systems. The certification curriculum emphasizes an active and hands-on approach to knowledge acquisition and use of learning-by-doing techniques to demonstrate, teach, and embed concepts and the application of skills.

On a recent project for Cubic Corporation Matt provided expertise and thought leadership to operations and supply chain organizations in agile and waterfall delivery environments to improve business performance (EBIT) in manufacturing planning, strategy, outsourcing/insourcing, lean manufacturing, warehouse and materials management, product lifecycle management, plant operations, supply chain, and quality functions. The project included advising on restructuring, change management, and strategic staff development.
