SEATTLE, Wash., Oct 2021 – The State of Washington’s Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) has chosen Onit Management Consulting to provide Organizational Change Management (OCM) expertise for its deployment of a Business Diversity Management System (BDMS). OMWBE’s BDMS will help State of WA agencies to identify, track and manage opportunities to engage with Minority and Women-owned businesses, and to comply with Gov. Inslee’s upcoming Executive Order for Equity in Public Contracting. As a 100% Minority- and Woman-owned small business, Onit is deeply committed to the success of this initiative, and is honored to have been selected to assist.
The Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises certifies small, minority and women-owned businesses to facilitate their participation in public contracting and procurement. This is accomplished through a comprehensive certification process and education. The outcome – successful small businesses led by minorities, women and veterans help make Washington’s economy and families more resilient, strengthening communities and improving the quality of life for all Washingtonians.
